What is Miracle Wave?
Shock wave therapy (also known as ESWT) is a modern, non-invasive treatment that uses high-intensity sound waves (acoustic pulses) to help promote healing faster and more effectively – with no downtime. It is a therapy used worldwide in the field of sport’s medicine and physical therapy.

Cellular Effects of K-Laser Therapy

When your muscles are in a constant state of spasm, they “shield” the injury, making it hard to move or even get adjusted. Electrical Muscle Stimulation uses light electrical pulses to mimic the signals coming from your nervous system, forcing the muscles to relax and let go.
Will I get "zapped" or feel an electric shock?
The sensation is more like a tingling or “pins and needles” feeling. It shouldn’t be painful. As the intensity is turned up, you will feel your muscles twitch or pulse rhythmically. Most patients find it very relaxing, almost like a buzzing massage.
Is this the same as a TENS unit I can buy at the store?
While they look similar, the clinical-grade EMS we use has much deeper penetration and more complex waveforms. A home TENS unit is mostly for “masking” pain signals, whereas our EMS is designed to reduce edema (swelling), decrease muscle spasms, and actually facilitate the healing of the soft tissue.
Can the electricity damage my nerves?
No. The levels of current used are very low and are designed to interact with the surface of the muscle and nerve fibers safely. It is a non-thermal, non-invasive way to manage pain without the use of pharmaceutical muscle relaxers.
