More Than Treating Pain
One of the things I’ve learned after caring for patients for more than 40 years is that good health isn’t just about getting out of pain.
It’s about understanding how your body functions, why problems develop, and what you can do to stay active, capable, and engaged in the life you want to live.
That philosophy has shaped my career and has become an important part of how we care for patients at Back to Balance Wellness Center.
Looking Beyond Symptoms
Pain is often the reason people first come to see us, but it’s rarely the whole story.
Our goal is to understand the bigger picture: how your body moves, how it functions, how lifestyle, nutrition, stress, and recovery influence your health, and what practical steps may help you feel and function better.
Every patient is different. That’s why every approach should be, too.
Experience That Shapes Perspective
Our foundation is chiropractic care, supported by advanced training in Applied Kinesiology and functional medicine.
For nearly 30 years, I’ve had the opportunity to serve on the PGA Tour medical staff, working with professional golfers whose performance depends on how well their bodies function.
That experience has helped shape the philosophy we bring to the clinic today. Whether you’re a professional athlete or simply want to stay active as you get older, the goal is remarkably similar: move well, recover well, and continue doing the things you love.
Health for the Long Term
Today, many people are thinking differently about aging.
They’re looking beyond simply treating illness and asking how they can preserve their strength, mobility, energy, and independence for years to come.
Those are the conversations we enjoy most.
Together, we’ll develop an individualized plan focused on helping you function at your best—not just today, but for the years ahead—and if that’s the kind of approach you’re looking for, we look forward to working with you to help you get there.
